The Meade County Fair offers a variety of of exhibits, both static and livestock. Anyone in the county is eligible to enter with a wide variety of areas open for competition. There are also a number of contests held just for fun, such as frog jumping, watermelon eating, turtle racing, and rooster crowing.

The Black Hills Gas & Steam Threshing Bee is hosted by the Western Dakota Antique Club to celebrate the history and heritage of our past. Exhibits will include antique tractors, stationary engines, steam engines, blacksmith shop, log house and much more! Additional information can be found at www.wdantiqueclub.com
