We’re teaming up with Sturgis Economic Development and The Local to bring a Home-Based Business Mixer to Sturgis!
Do you work from home? Enjoy your days working in PJ’s? It’s pretty great, however, maybe you miss having “coworkers” – those individuals who understand what it’s like to also work at home.
We’re putting on this mixer to celebrate those who work from home and give you all a platform to connect and meet the community! Join us for some networking, some cocktails and connection with other locals who work from home.

The 10th Annual Celebrating Women in Business Luncheon is Friday, May 17 at the Holiday Inn Spearfish-Convention Center. Doors open and the exhibitor showcase begins at 10:00 a.m. The luncheon will conclude at 1:00 p.m.
To celebrate SD CEO’s 10th year anniversary, this year we have TWO phenomenal keynote speakers – both a successful entrepreneur and a successful intrapreneur! Think of an “intrapreneur” as someone who works for a company or organization and brings entrepreneurial qualities like innovation, resilience, determination and grit to her job every day.
Fee: $30 ($40 after May 5th)
Includes lunch, gift bag, door prize drawings, and networking opportunities.

About Paula Rae Studio:
Paula Rae is a local artist using vibrant colors, flowing movement, and a quiet elegance in her fluid abstract art. The work arouses curiosity, engages the viewer, and would make a lovely addition to your home or office.
A variety of work will be on display during the Mixer at The Local, as well as an opportunity for attendees to experience fluid acrylic painting first hand on a small 4”x4” wood (mdf) coaster. Paula will have samples of the color combinations and walk you through the process, providing several demonstrations throughout the evening.
About The Local:
The Local is the space you’re missing in your business or professional development. It’s a network of other entrepreneurs & professionals looking to connect and collaborate in a bigger way. Join us for our monthly networking events or continuous learning workshops to see how a rising tide really does lift all boats.
See you at the Chamber Mixer!
