The Sturgis Chamber hosts two Crackerbarrels each year; one at the beginning of the legislative session in February, and one at the end in March. Community Showcase & Health Fair

The Community Showcase & Health Fair offers a chance to browse booths of local nonprofit and healthcare organizations to get to know their missions and projects. Businesses display information to help the community understand what they do - this is also a great opportunity to donate or volunteer! Many participating businesses also enter the Soup & Chili Cookoff, a fundraiser for the Greater Lifecare Foundation. Click below to learn more:
Annual Chamber Awards Banquet

The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce hosts an Annual Chamber Awards Banquet in April. Tickets become available a few weeks prior to the event each year, and are open to Chamber members and other individuals in the community. Spring & Fall City-Wide Yard Sales

Sturgis invites the public to participate in two City-Wide Yard Sales each year! One is held in September, and the other in May. These events are very well-attended and are a great way to find bargains while touring our beautiful community. Click below to learn more:

Sturgis Volksmarch
June 17th 2023
Sturgis has been hosting the Annual Sturgis Volksmarch for decades, and it is one of our favorite community events. Our town is lucky to be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and public lands - past Volksmarches have traversed the beautiful Black Hills National Forest, Bear Butte State Park, the historic Fort Meade recreation area, and other unique sites. Sturgis Fall Hot Pepper Festival

The Sturgis Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau invites your family to the 2023 Sturgis Fall ~HOT PEPPER~ Festival! Our Fall Festival is entering its 4th year, and what better way to celebrate than by showcasing a local staple, hot peppers, at this year's event! Attendees can enjoy a Pepper Market showcasing vendors of all kinds, our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off, a Homemade Salsa Competition, a Hot Pepper Eating Contest, a Garden Display Contest, live music all day, and of course the usual hay bale maze, hay rides, and more!

Leadership Sturgis Program

Leadership Sturgis is a series of workshops aimed to help you become a better leader, a better citizen of our community, and give you better skills for success! This family-friendly activity helps raise funds for the Chamber of Commerce and the Sturgis Brown High School Drama Club. Sturgis Tree Lighting Ceremony & Parade of Lights

Happy Holidays from the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau! To celebrate the holidays each year, join us at our annual Sturgis Tree Lighting Cermony and Parade of Lights. Held on two consecutive nights at the beginning of December, these popular local events kick off a month of festivities with brightly-lit parade floats, well-wishes from local businesses, a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by our town Mayor, the traditional lighting of the community Christmas tree, and more! Chamber Lunch & Learns
3rd Thursdays Monthly
Our Chamber is dedicated to providing fun, educational opportunities to our residents and community workforce. We host a monthly Lunch & Learn to do just that! Join us at a different location each month for an enlightening presentation, group discussion, or hands-on activity during your lunch hour. These events are free and open to the public! Topics range from panel discussions, to community Q&A sessions current on hot topics, to interactive tutorials with local businesses.
