Our signature Sturgis Area Chamber events take place throughout the year and are curated to contribute directly to our mission as an organization. Events promote business and retail, support and celebrate the agriculture community, and increase the tourism footprint for the Sturgis area.
Furthermore, several of our events exist for the specific purpose of enhancing our local quality of life. Legislative Crackerbarrels
January 31st 2026 / March 7th 2026
Legislative Crackerbarrels are a unique opportunity to meet our district legislators, ask questions, and share your views on current legislative topics. The Sturgis Chamber hosts two Crackerbarrels each year; one at the beginning of the legislative session in February, and one at the end in March. The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce strives to provide opportunities for our member businesses to meet our elected representatives and be heard, as well as to connect the community with our leadership. For this reason, we host multiple election forums throughout the winter and spring season to fulfill our mission.
Annual Chamber Awards Banquet
April 2nd 2026
The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce hosts an Annual Chamber Awards Banquet in April. Tickets become available a few weeks prior to the event each year, and are open to Chamber members and other individuals in the community. Tickets sell out quickly! Spring & Fall Community Yard Sales
May 2nd 2026 / October 3rd 2026
Sturgis invites the public to participate in two Community Yard Sales each year! One is held the Saturday before the first full week in May, and the other on the Saturday before the first full week in October. These events are very well-attended and are a great way to find bargains while touring our beautiful community. Click below to learn more:
Sturgis Art Festival
June 6th 2026
The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is hard at work planning our FIFTH year of the Sturgis Art Festival! This festival will highlight the best of the best artists, crafters, and businesses in our area. Vendors report that this festival is consistenly one of their best sales events of the year! Battle of the Bands
June 6th 2026
The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the return of a sensational expansion of our annual Sturgis Art Festival: Prepare yourself for the face-melting, mind-bending sounds of garage band magic at Harley-Davidson Rally Point during our FOURTH Legendary Sturgis Battle of the Bands! Our first two years were massively successful - make plans to attend our best yet in 2026!

Community Appreciation Picnic

Sturgis Fall ~ POTATO~ Festival

The Sturgis Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau invites your family to the 2026 Sturgis Fall Festival! Attendees can enjoy a family-friendly event with a real hay bale maze, hay rides, fall photo booth, fall vendors, kids' games, and more!
Leadership Sturgis Program
November - April (Third Tuesdays) 2026-2027
Leadership Sturgis is a 6-month series of workshops aimed to help you become a better leader, a better citizen of our community, and give you better skills for success! Students will hear from a variety of noteworthy community leaders and business owners, tour several key facilities in the Sturgis area, and work on projects to further develop leadership qualities, goals, and professional skills:
Agriculture Appreciation Banquet

Sturgis Tree Lighting Ceremony

Happy Holidays from the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau! To celebrate the holidays each year, join us at our annual Sturgis Tree Lighting Cermony on November 29th, which is also Small Business Saturday! Stop by Harley-Davidson Rally Point in downtown Sturgis for well-wishes from local businesses, a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by our town Mayor, the traditional lighting of the community Christmas tree, and more! Parade of Lights
December 4th 2026
Enjoy another Sturgis holiday favorite event at our Sturgis Annual Parade of Lights on the evening of Friday, December 4th 2026! Our parade welcomes 40 to 50 floats decked out in lights and music to celebrate our community spirit. Watch the parade from Junction Avenue or Main Street this year, and be sure to enter your float for a chance at winning one of our float awards!
Scrooge Night

Our Chamber is dedicated to providing fun, educational opportunities to our residents and community workforce. We host a quarterly Lunch & Learn to do just that!
