The Sturgis Farmers Market is a weekly Saturday outdoor market starting in early June and ending late September or early October, depending on weather conditions. Local producers are invited each week to set up a booth featuring their home-grown produce, meats, or other hand-crafted goods. Markets are held downtown to encourage commerce and activity on Main Street.
The Sturgis Farmers Market is an important opportunity for community members to connect directly with our agriculture industry; shoppers can learn how their food is grown and raised, where it comes from, and details about how to prepare it. The producer-to-consumer movement is gaining momentum across the country - and around the world! Sturgis is lucky to be surrounded by quality agriculture readily available to our residents and businesses.
Sturgis offers a regular outdoor market between June and September, and then a monthly Indoor Winter Market between October/November and May! For information about sponsoring or becoming a vendor at the Sturgis Farmers Market, please contact the Chamber office.
