LaPrade Roofing & Construction started in 1992 by Steve LaPrade. Over the past three decades, we’ve focused on producing only the highest quality roofs. We’ve always worked on the principle that our business is our reputation and our reputation is our business. We always put customers first – only producing the highest quality roofs, efficiently and within our customer’s budgets. Over the years we’ve developed an expertise in the products that withstand wind and hail storms. We’ll always steer our customers towards the products that will best fit their home and stand up under all conditions over time. We’re also only as strong as the people we work with. We’ve developed relationships with a vast network of quality contractors, business owners and homeowners all located in the Black Hills in both South Dakota and Wyoming. We’re allied to numerous construction companies and subcontractors in the region. What we believe most is that our business is the people we serve and the roofers we work with. We’re here to help. LaPrade Roofing & Construction is a locally owned and operated Roofing & Construction Contractor in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We're based in Spearfish, SD, but our roofers operate throughout the entire Black Hills region.

In 2015 we hired LaPrade Construction to redo our roof. In one day they removed the old shingles, repaired any defects, installed new vents and applied new shingles. They were respectful of our property and removed all debris including any fallen nails. All work was done in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
In April of 2019, we had a roof leak and called Steve LaPrade to check our roof. What he found had nothing to do with the roof. It was the deterioration of our chimney. Steve and a co-worker made the necessary repairs after a special trip to get the correct chalk. All the chimney work was done at no charge to us. This is a company that takes pride in their work and customer satisfaction goes beyond expectations as witnessed in fixing a problem that was not theirs. We would highly recommend LaPrade Construction.
