The 2021 Sturgis Volksmarch will take hikers on a historic tour of former Cavalry sites with views of Bear Butte on modern trails surrounding Fort Meade. This area includes "Soap Suds Row" and the old Cavalry shooting range visible from the Volksmarch route. Hikers will pass through a portion of the new Bear Butte Creek historical preservation project.
