I-90 Exit 32-40 Corridor Study and Design Project Public Meeting

The SD DOT in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has completed a corridor study along a segment of I-90 from Exit 32 in Sturgis to Exit 40 in Tilford. The study identified needs within the corridor and recommended two improvement projects driven by deteriorating infrastructure, substandard designs and interchange capacity limits. The two construction projects (Exit 37-40 and Exit 32-37) are planned for construction beginning in 2022 and 2025, respectively. The corridor is also improving the Intelligent Transportation System as part of the project. Click below to view full details:
