Sturgis Golden K Kiwanis have announced their annual Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry Food Drive! The event will be held on Saturday, November 6th from 9 AM to noon. Food and monetary donations may be dropped off at any of four collection points. The collection points will be located at the entrance to the elementary school directly across from the fire station, the parking lot of the Harley Davidson store, the parking lot at Grocery Mart and the Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry at 801 6th Street. Monetary donations may also be mailed to: Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry, PO Box 4136, Sturgis, SD 57785. Suggested food items the pantry can always use: Beef stew, tuna, canned chicken, spam, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, any pasta noodles, pasta sauces, jelly, peanut butter, ketchup, mustard, canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, hamburger helper, butter, cake/brownie mix, vegetable oil, ramen noodles, canned fruit, and breakfast cereal.
