Nestled on the side of a mountain, Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club is a modern Championship 18-hole golf course open to the public featuring breathtaking views of the historic Centennial Valley and the historic Polo Creek Canyon. This challenging 18 hole layout affords over 285 feet of elevation change, hidden canyons, elevated tees, and broad sloping greens. All levels of players can enjoy five different teeing areas on each of the nine holes. Play 18 holes from the “Tips” and Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club stretches over 7,200 yards and is rated at 74.6 from the Championship Tees. Enjoy Elkhorn’s Practice facilities featuring double-ended driving range, multiple target greens, and green-side practice bunker allowing for all types of short-game practice.

Five separate teeing areas at each hole allows golfers to determine not only length of the course but also a tee based on their ability. The 18-Hole course reaches 7,200 yards from the tips and is a Par 72. The front nine is nestled on the side of a mountain with spectacular views of the Centennial Valley, while the back nine is tucked away in the historic Polo Creek Canyon offering a glimpse at the historic Frawley Homestead. The course features 285 feet of elevation change and includes hidden canyons, elevated tees, generous fairways, and broad sloping green surfaces with numerous pin placement options. Equipped with state of the art Visage GPS Club Car electric carts and the modern championship layout offers an upscale experience along with the Black Hills’ best practice facilities to hone one’s skills including a double-ended driving range, multiple putting greens, fairway and green-side bunkers.

Great Course! This one will surely challenge even the most experienced players. Lots of different ways to play this course and I found myself using pretty much every club in my bag. The back nine is really something special; a true work of art in the design. Can't wait to get back to Spearfish and play this one again!

Elkhorn Ridge golf club is a must if you love the game of golf! The elevation changes are challenging but it makes this course stand out in front of normal courses. The course is in AMAZING shape! Not only is the course great but the staff there are incredible! 10/10 would recommend!
