What a crisp, fall-like day!
During this, the chilliest week we’ve had in some time, it’s hard not to continue feeling the autumn and back-to-school vibes. With that in mind, I’d like to take a moment to share my thoughts on a very special educational series we have coming up later this month: Leadership Sturgis.
You may have attended a leadership course or seminar in the past, and that’s great! Do you remember how motivated you were? Do you recall the sense of community you walked away with, or the urge to create positive change for yourself and others? That inspiration is what Leadership Sturgis is all about. The Sturgis Chamber has been working hard to craft a 4-part series starting on September 24th for anyone and everyone ready to make a difference in our community.
Now that we’re on the same page, let me say that educational opportunities like this one are especially near and dear to my heart. I’ve always grown up surrounded by positive influence and learning opportunities, and that is one of the primary reasons I became the Director of this phenomenal nonprofit organization. A tiny push, the right connection, a glimmer of inspiration is all it takes to spark a flame. This series will bring people of all backgrounds together to learn from each other and start a journey.
