Memorial Day weekend has arrived and with it the usual beginnings of summer activity! Sturgis has seen a spike in new business activity in the last few weeks. Here are some new and updating businesses you will see around town:
Red’s Grill & Pub – A new take on an existing beloved business, Red’s Grill & Pub will be opening within the next few weeks and is the fresh face of Jambonz! Sheree is rolling out a new menu and new look to the restaurant. We can’t wait to see it and taste it!
The Giving Goat Crystal Shop – If you’ve wandered down east Main recently, you have probably noticed The Giving Goat Crystal Shop at 950 Main Street! This shop is a ton of fun and carries a stunning array of crystals, jewelry, hemp bags, oracle and tarot, essential oils, chakra healing items, and more! According to their friendly staff, business is booming!
The Good Witch Cake Shop – Yes, she’s back! The Good Witch is open and offering an assortment of baked goods and lunch items at 2709 Lazelle, Suite A. I’ve tried a few of her breakfast pastries and cupcakes – they are sensational! Stop by for a delicious treat and to welcome her to the Sturgis business community.
Scooptown Car Wash – This new business has been much-anticipated and is now fully operational! Complete with a camper/RV wash station, manual wash bays, automatic wash bays, vacuums, and a dog wash, this state-of-the-art facility will get your vehicle (or dog) sparkly clean!
The Moon Tap – Chance, a Sturgis native, owns and operates a new food truck that has been setting up right next to The Crystal Shop with a variety of mouth-watering eats! Follow The Moon Tap’s Facebook page for updates on his location, hours, and menu.
Bear Butte Gardens Farm Stand & Commercial Kitchen – Our local organic farm, Bear Butte Gardens, is in the completion phase of a brand new facility that will house their farm stand, commercial kitchen, and vacation rental! They plan to put the final finishing touches on this new multi-use building in June. We can’t wait to see it!
Hottie’s Pub & Grub – We have been eagerly awaiting more news from this new food truck and restaurant as we roll into summer! They will be opening soon with some irresistible menu items. Follow their page for updates!
Loud American Roadhouse – One of our hometown favorite restaurants has unveiled a newly-renovated interior! Stop in for a drink and a bite to eat, and enjoy a beautiful new bar and improved sports screening on their new 360-degree tv setup!
Subway – If you have visited the west side of town lately, you’ve seen that Subway is finishing up a new location with a new look! They will now be located right next to Burger King in a fully-renovated facility.
New and improved businesses are sprouting around town just as the plants are sprouting to greet the summer months! Please help us support each of these businesses in the coming weeks and months to encourage economic growth and good spirits this year.
