April at the Chamber has been a month full of events and activities, but we’re looking forward to what May has to offer already! Here are a few reminders as we finish out the month:
Today is the very last day to register a yard sale to be included in our City-Wide Yard Sale map and directory! Scroll down to complete the form, then stop by to drop it off and complete your registration. The yard sale date is Saturday, May 4th.
Our Chamber Mixer with Boulder Canyon Country Club is this week! Scroll down for details about this event, and make sure you stop by to take advantage of the delicious food, drinks, and other amenities the clubhouse has to offer. Check out the course while you’re there, and don’t forget about the opportunities to win free golf!
ACE Hardware of Sturgis is having an official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening this weekend! Links to the event pages can be found below – let’s give them a warm welcome to our community, and thank them for offering many of the necessities that families in Sturgis need. If you haven’t looked at their inventory yet, definitely do so – you might be surprised!
Finally, I had the opportunity to meet with the SD Department of Labor this week to learn more about their initiatives – they have a thriving program that offers job training and internship placements for your employees and business! Check out more below, and contact them if you have someone looking for more job training, someone hoping to enter the workforce, or are in need of some help at your business this summer.
