Happy sunny Friday, Sturgis!
Many people mark the onset of summer by the official Summer Equinox, or by the warming weather and first lawn cutting. However, I think that in Sturgis we actually mark it with the arrival of the City-Wide Yard Sale! In our area, May weather on a given day might include anything (or everything) from hail and snow to rain and wind - the one thing that remains constant is our dedication to yard sales and great deals!
Please make sure you swing by the Sturgis Chamber office today or tomorrow to pick up your official City-Wide Yard Sale map. You can also scroll down for electronic and PDF versions. Sales are happening all day tomorrow, and there are some you definitely won't want to miss! I am always surprised by the curious variety of items listed on our map. What do baby clothes, a generator, Christmas decorations, an electric scooter, and a collection of western books all have in common? The City-Wide Yard Sale, of course!
