I am ecstatic that I have successfully finished my first week as the new Receptionist/Event Coordinator at the Sturgis Area Chamber and I cannot wait to see where this role takes me as well as the new people I get to encounter on the way.
A little about me, I am Megan Millang, new-ish resident to the area. My fiancé, daughter and I moved to Sturgis last September, coming from Iowa we almost immediately knew that we had made the right choice! The town is extremely inviting, as are the handful of people I have met this week. There is never a lack of activities, places to go or things to do.
As some of the upcoming events have already been planned, I am anxiously awaiting to see the outcome. I am also awaiting the opportunity to aid in planning upcoming events and activities in the community. I look forward to meeting more people in the community and hope that I can continue to make future events just as successful as years past.
As the first week comes to an end, I feel extremely welcomed into this position. I am greatly looking forward to the new people I will get the pleasure of meeting and I am extremely grateful to have this opportunity in this wonderful community.
