Support your local businesses.

Dear Sturgis:

It's another lovely, rainy, cold, snowy April day!

We are preparing for an eventful weekend full of activities including the Heartland Homestore mixer this evening starting at 5pm and the free Community Cinema at the Community Center starting at 7pm. Additionally, several wonderful musicians will be playing across Sturgis tonight including Andreia Mraz at the Oasis, Beneath the Sky Down Yonder at 44North Whiskey & Seltzer Bar, and Camp Comfort and Judd Hoos at the Loud American! Not to mention, the Senior Citizens Center is celebrating their Grand Re-Opening tomorrow starting at 11am with a tour, presentation, and silent auction!

Please consider supporting these and our other local businesses this weekend. Every purchase you make in Sturgis truly helps our community - your dollars might help a local business purchase supplies, inventory, and pay its staff. Those dollars might then help pay for groceries, school supplies, fuel, and entertainment. Those same dollars could then be donated to local nonprofits or even help pay for daycare and school programs so that our workforce can keep growing and giving back to the community as well.

Each dollar you spend in Sturgis comes back to help Sturgis. Please keep this in mind as you consider shopping online or traveling to other communities to buy groceries or other goods this weekend - if you can buy it in Sturgis, do it! Every cent will circulate back through our community to make it a better place to live and work.

Sincerely,
