Sturgis Restaurant Showdown!
October 1st through 9th, 2026
It's time for a showdown, Sturgis style! Visit restaurants, bars, and eateries across town from October 1st to October 9th to try creative specials featuring our Vegetable of the Year: the POTATO!
How It Works:
Grab a free punch card at any participating restaurant or at the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center starting on October 1st. Each card has a space for every participating establishment. Try the potato features, collect at least five punches, and submit your vote for your favorite at the Sturgis Welcome Center!
The Prize:
The winner will earn ultimate bragging rights as the 2026 Champion of the Sturgis Restaurant Showdown, plus signage to proudly display at their establishment!
Voting closes at 5 PM on Friday, October 9th. The winner will be announced on stage at the Sturgis Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10th, and by livestream on the Sturgis Area Chamber Facebook page.
The fun continues all month! Don't worry if you miss the voting window: the potato specials will be available throughout the month of October, so you can keep enjoying them even after voting ends.
