Every August, the Buffalo Chip brings together the world’s largest gathering of music and motorcycle fans, with visitors from all 50 states and over 20 countries. As the first and leading entertainment destination for the motorcycle enthusiast, it has remained one of the world’s most televised and longest-running independent music festivals.
Located three miles east of Sturgis, SD on 600 creek-fed acres, it offers nine nights of world-class concerts, multiple stages of entertainment, races, motorcycle shows, a swimming hole, bars, food, showers, cabins, RVs, camping, and more. I am a motorcycle mechanic and loved the friendliness and cleanliness of this campground it was amazing to spend 16 days at this beautiful place! I took my breath away seeing the landscaping and how patriotic the Buffalo Chip was it was a all out perfect first experience for Sturgis! I wouldn’t trade it for the world the entertainment was out of this world and staff was so helpful.. Count me in for next year and the year after because I’m a lifer now!! No better place to be!!
