About Hope Church - Sturgis
Bethel Church of Rapid City, under the leadership of Pastor Gerad Strong, had a dream for a church in Sturgis. In 2019, he crossed paths with Dusty and Elise. Soon after, Bethel Church-Sturgis Campus was born. Through the sacrifice and support of many volunteers, Bethel Church-Sturgis grew numerically and in unity as we approached the next phase of our journey. While the church's name changed in the spring of 2024, the mission to know Jesus and make Him known continues to move forward!

Q: Do you have something for my kids?
A: Yes! We have a 2 week old - Pre-school age Nursery! We also have a Kids Ministry that connects with the K-5th grade kids at their level, to worship, play games and learn a Bible story each week! We have a great Kids Ministry team of volunteers that are excited to be with your kids each week!
Q: What can I expect when I attend your church?
A: You will experience a friendly environment of people from all ages. We have young babies and we have people in the 70-80’s. We love it this way! We typically sing 3-4 songs and hear a relevant message that will range from 20-35 minutes.
Q: Where is your church?
A: We are a campus church of Bethel Church, located in Rapid City, SD. Bethel Church has 6 locations throughout the beautiful Black Hills. The campus pastor usually preaches 2-3 times a month, with a mix of the current Lead Pastor of Bethel Church preaching on the other weeks. We have ministry for all ages. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God Fellowship.
