Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Some of you will be spending it with someone special in your life, and others will spend it with family or friends! No matter who you spend this day of love with, I have some awesome places right here in Sturgis you can go for this holiday!
- Just for Looks Boutique: Just for Looks is a great store to take your sweetheart shopping! They’ve got stylish clothing, fun cooking supplies, adorable shoes, and so much more! Go down to Main Street and check them out!
- Heartland Homestore: Heartland Homestore has some great selections on appliances and other home essentials! Stop in and surprise your favorite person with a new mattress, a coffee/espresso maker, a new freezer… the list goes on. Heartland Homestore is a new home owner’s dream store!
- Lucy’s Nearly New Shoppe: Lucy’s has all of the stylish articles of clothing anyone is looking for. Shoes, blouses, cardigans, and coats for this chilly season – and so much more! They also have great home decorations, books, movies, and kitchen accessories. Lucy’s is a second-hand must-see!
- Belle Joli Winery: Belle Joli Winery is a tasteful stop for this year’s Valentine’s Day. Take your loved ones out to enjoy some of their signature wines. They have some amazing hors d’oeuvres, including my personal favorite, the spinach dip!
- The Loud American Roadhouse: The Loud American Roadhouse is a wonderful stop for Valentine’s Day. They will have specials going on ALL DAY! Their Valentine’s Day specials are: Tips for two! Get one “Tip the Scale” entree, two sides of potatoes, two salads and two garlic toast . The Loud is also offering prime rib, as they do every Friday night! Take the person you fancy down and have a Loud Valentine’s Day!
- The Knuckle Saloon & Brewery: Both the Knuckle Saloon and the Knuckle Brewing Company have great selections of food and drinks. Burgers, pizza, and beer! What more could your sweetheart want?
- Jambonz Grill & Pub: If you want to spice up your Valentine’s Day dinner, stop by and have a meal at Jambonz Grill & Pub. My personal favorites are their amazing gumbo, and their flavorful “pastalaya!”
- Uncle Louie’s: Uncle Louie’s is one of the newer restaurants in town, and they sure are great. They have a variety of burgers, and a wonderful soup and salad bar! Uncle Louie’s is a great family restaurant to have a family meal this holiday.
- Weimer’s Diner & Donuts: Weimer’s Diner is another wonderful family diner here in town. Weimer’s is definitely a must for all of your sweet treat needs! They have some of the best donuts in town. Satisfy your sweet tooth with your honey at Weimer’s!
- White Canvas Art Co.: White Canvas Art Company is doing an Old Fashioned Valentine’s Day! Make plans to spend your evening having fun bonding time with your special someone. They will have many activities including:
- Paint together, a painting project involving two canvases that work together as a set that you complete side by side.
- Couples photo, a green screen backdrop allows you to choose any background you wish. They have a variety of decade costumes for some added fun if you’re looking for something different, or come dressed as you like. One 8×10 printed and framed.
- Dinner for two, they will have a special menu prepared for you and your loved one to enjoy to finish off your night of togetherness surrounded by the beautiful artwork in their gallery. Their space is limited, tickets are available online at whitecanvasartco.com or at 1060 Main Street Sturgis, SD, tickets are $75 per couple!
- Sturgis Photo and Gifts: Sturgis Photo and Gifts has a fun bunch of Love Bird Specials going on! They just received a shipment of lovely treats for your sweetie!! Sugar cookies decorated with royal icing are available for $6.99 or two for $12. Also check out wood signs for Valentine’s Day, they’re adorable! All jewelry is Buy One Get One FREE until February 14th!
- Rockingtree Floral: Rockingtree Floral will cover all of your floral arrangement needs this Valentine’s Day. Call in and order, or stop in and pick from their fresh selection of succulents! Show your significant other how beautiful they make your life with a gorgeous floral arrangement from Rockingtree!
- Black Hills Rally & Gold: Black Hills Rally & Gold has a HUGE variety of the perfect gifts for anyone this Valentine’s Day. It would take me awhile to tell you about all of the amazing things they have! You’ll just have to go down there and check it all out for yourself, and I promise – you won’t regret it!
- Anywhere else in town!: If none of these places are your cup of tea, that is okay! These are a few of the many great businesses here in Sturgis. Sturgis has a lot more to offer than just these 9 businesses. All you have to do is browse around town, and find your favorite!
