This week I’d like to thank everyone that attended our Chamber Awards Banquet last week. We presented 11 awards to some of the most deserving businesses and individuals in our community. Here’s a recap of the winners:

- Employee of the Year: Lisa Katzenstein
- Employer of the Year: Scott Peterson Motors
- Customer Service Excellence Award: First Interstate Bank
- Retail Business of the Year: Grocery Mart
- Service Business of the Year: Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry
- Hospitality Business of the Year: Willie Whelchel – Baymont Inn & Suites
- Manufacturing Business of the Year: Legend Suspensions
- Sponsor of the Year: Black Hills Energy
- Key City Award: Daniel Ainslie
The event was well-attended and the support for these recipients was phenomenal! Award winners were selected by a specially-appointed committee with a voting system. Nominations were submitted online, anonymously.
