Don’t Miss Out!

Happy Wednesday, Sturgis!

We finally found a chance to plant flowers outside the office between the spring rains, and we’ve noticed quite a few other businesses in town taking advantage of the beautiful weather as well! Here are a few upcoming events to fit in while you are out and about:

1. Sturgis Farmers Market is announced!
Click here for information about our brand new weekly market, located on Main Street. Opening day is coming up! We are looking for vendors to sell homegrown produce, meats, locally-made crafts, and other goods!

2.  Chamber Mixer with The Local and Paula Rae Studio is tomorrow!
Visit The Local at 1064 Main Street to view their gorgeous co-working space and take in the fine art of Paula Rae Studio. This is a must-attend event! Have a drink and stay awhile – Emily has hinted that if the weather is nice, we can open up the glass panels across the front of the building and enjoy the June sunshine! Fingers crossed!

3.  TWO exciting Ribbon Cuttings next week!
Plan to attend not one, but two ribbon cuttings next week for Giddy-Up Shuttles and White Canvas Art Co! Giddy-Up Shuttles is first on Monday at 3pm; stop by the Chamber parking lot at 2040 Junction Ave to tour one of their shuttles. White Canvas Art Co is at the end of the week on Friday at 5pm in their brand new location – 1060 Main Street!

4.  Team registration now open for the 5th Annual Northern Hills Ag Fest!
We are accepting registrations for teams to participate in the events at our Ag Fest this year during the Meade County Fair and 4-H Achievement Days! Events include Mutton Bustin’, Dress-a-Sheep, Calf Scramble, and Dress-a-Calf. Contact us for details, and be sure to subscribe to our e-newsletter!

5. Check out the Community Event Calendar!
Subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter to view the Community Event Calendar – we update this listing every week, and it is brimming with Hills happenings this month put on by our Chamber Members! Remember to support our local businesses by partaking in all of the great activities our area offers.

That’s this week’s summary! As always, please stop by the office, call, or email anytime if you have questions, comments, or suggestions. The Sturgis Chamber exists to benefit you, and we take that mission very seriously.

Sincerely,

Veronica Grosek
