Welcome to another beautiful Wednesday, Sturgis!
July is already half completed, but we still have four great events coming up this month and one exciting announcement! Here’s the TL;DR version of this week’s newsletter:
1. Sturgis Community Resource Fair & Clothing Giveaway
The Sturgis Chamber has teamed up with Black Hills Special Services to put on Sturgis’s first ever Resource Fair and Clothing Giveaway for those in need! This event will take place this Saturday, July 20th from 9am to 1pm at the City Auditorium. Anyone can stop by to browse free clothing items and other resource booths for kids and adults!
2. Sturgis Farmers Market
The Sturgis Farmers Market continues to grow – we’re at it again this Saturday, July 20th from 9am to 1pm at 1238 Main Street! Stop by for a selection of local produce, meats, honey, crafts, art, and more.
3. Chamber Mixer: Rena Hymans Law Firm
Rena Hymans Law Firm is constructing a brand new building and temporarily relocating to 2221 Lazelle! Stop by their interrim office for a fun Mixer from 4:30-6:30pm on July 25th.
4. 5th Annual Northern Hills Ag Fest
It’s Ag Fest time! Bring the whole family to a FREE barbeque from 4-6pm at the Meade County Fairgrounds behind SBHS on Friday the 26th, then stick around for Mutton Bustin’, Dress-a-Sheep, Dress-a-Calf, and Calf Scramble competitions! It’s free to participate in all activities!
5. Meet Megan!
After a long selection process, we’ve hired a brand new Receptionist and Events Coordinator! Megan will be at our front desk from 8am to noon weekly Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Saturdays. Stop by to meet her!
