Hello, Sturgis!
The holidays are already upon us! This time next week most of us will be enjoying time with family, eyeing pies hot from the oven, and watching the big game. Before the tryptophan has a chance to set in, take special note of this summary of our upcoming November activities:
- Next Tuesday: Rockingtree Open House - This annual Open House and Chamber Mixer is a community favorite! Free corsages, a floral arrangement giveaway, refreshments, and of course browsing their selection of holiday gifts and decor is a must every year! Contact us for details.
- Now Accepting Registrations: CISS Parade of Homes Benefit - We are combining forces with the Crisis Intervention Shelter Service to put together a tour of holiday lights in Sturgis! Enter your home or business for $20 – the funds raised will go directly to CISS! Families can hop in the car and cruise around Sturgis using an electronic or print version of the map as a fun, free holiday activity. Map coming soon! Contact us for registration info.
- New Announcement: Indoor Winter Market - The Sturgis Farmers Market has unveiled a new monthly indoor market during the winter season! The first market date is on Small Business Saturday on November 30th from 9am to 1pm. This market will be at the old Xtreme Dakota Bicycles location between the Oasis and The Knuckle Brewery. We are accepting vendors of all kinds!
- Later This Month: Small Business Saturday - Yes, it’s back! Stop by the Chamber for a free shopping tote and info about all the great small businesses to shop at on November 30th. Let’s #ShopLocal and support Sturgis retail!
- In Progress: 90% Challenge - Last but not least, the 90% Challenge is well underway! Challenge yourself to do at least 90% of your holiday shopping in Sturgis this year. We have everything you need! If you are unsure where to shop, contact or stop by the Chamber and our friendly staff will lead you in the right direction. View our full Business Directory and be sure to hashtag #ShopSturgis!
That’s FIVE amazing activities in the second half of November! Don’t miss out, and stop by if you have any questions at all.
Sincerely,
Veronica Grosek
