October Chamber Highlights

Good afternoon, Sturgis!

This week we have SO many great things going on or in the works. You can find our comprehensive list of community and member activities, events, meetings, and announcements in the latter half of the newsletter. You can find details about our Chamber initiatives, too - here are the highlights:

Chamber Board of Directors Annual Election - Yes, it's time to select who our new Board of Directors members will be! This year we are saying goodbye to two wonderful members that have served for many years. We are taking on two new members in their places, plus two current members are running for another term. Scroll down to view a sample copy of the ballot and be sure to check the mail for yours!

Chamber's Crypt Haunted House - I don't mean to be boastful, but our haunted house this year is going to be AMAZING! We have planned out seven separate spooky rooms, each with different themes. Dustin from White Canvas Art Co. is helping construct a special addition, and we are about to send out an advertising blitz to make this our best haunted house yet! Bring the whole family, starting the evening of October 28th!

Holiday Celebrations Coming Soon - In preparation for the holidays, we've put together a list of some of our favorite holiday events and activities coming up. Scroll down for the link and be sure to mark your calendar!

Funding Opportunities Available - We have some great funding options available right now for businesses, clubs, and nonprofits. Check out our Funding Opportunities article below to learn more about Rally Charities, SD Gives, our own Chamber Event Funding, and new CARES Act funding.

Chamber Performance Survey - Last but not least, please make sure that you complete our very short Chamber Performance Survey through the link below. We are always looking for ways to improve and better serve our members, visitors, and residents. Please let us know your thoughts!

My staff and I hope you have a great week! Please contact us anytime with questions, suggestions, ideas, or general feedback.

Sincerely,

Veronica Grosek
